Yeh IDeology is a boutique recruitment firm specializing in design and strategy. Our client is a leading retail company looking for a Human Experience Designer who will have the innate understanding of, and facility with, design thinking and methods.

The ideal candidate will be able to sense and respond appropriately to shifting customer mindsets, while bearing business realities in mind. They will be responsible for contributing to many aspects of the creative process, always ensuring that the voice of the customer is represented and respected. This is a role that will require the perfect balance of customer empathy, creative skill, commercial awareness and ability to deliver.

RESPONSIBILITIES
*Conduct design research to understand the service related challenges that customers and associates face
*Collaborate and co-create with customers and associates to concept solutions
*Use design methods to turn insights into inspiring, valued and functional prototypes
*Test and refine prototypes, with a view to refining them for delivery at scale
*Understand, test and implement new ways of working in order to achieve desired customer experiences across the entire customer journey

SKILLS
*Proven creative skill in designing and developing outstanding customer experiences
*Practical experience in application of service design methods (e. g. User Interviews, Contextual Inquiry, Competitor Benchmark, Stakeholder Map, Personas, Customer Journey, Service Blueprint, System Maps, Wireframes, Experience Flows, Enactments,etc.)
*Ability to create, facilitate and synthesize workshops
*Confidence in defining, documenting and communicating end-to-end experiences
*Experienced in ideation, concepting, prototyping and iteration
*Strong and confident visualization skills from pen to pixel
*High level of software proficiency (Adobe CS and other prototyping tools)

QUALIFICATIONS
*BA or higher in a relevant discipline (Communication Design, Interaction Design, Service Design, Behavioral Psychology, Anthropology, etc)
*1-5 years experience in design strategy, working in multidisciplinary teams
*Demonstrable go-to-market experience designing services that balance customer needs, commercial interests and technological constraints
