Our client is a renowned product innovation consultancy with an impressive portfolio of work focused in the realms of consumer goods, electronics, medical, as well as many others. They’re seeking a Senior Industrial Designer who can collaborate with their clients to create user-centric, highly functional and aesthetically pleasing products that their customers will truly connect with. They will be a passionate leader, who can strategically manage a project as well as mentor younger team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS
*Possesses strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with designers, researchers, strategists, and digital teams.
*Partners with clients to bring their visions to life by managing projects and achieving business objectives.
*Solid understanding of CAD modeling and rendering, construction methodology, and manufacturing processes.
*Ability to take the initial concept though to the final stages of development as a lead designer.
*Highly organized with strengths in developing the project framework and managing external vendors.
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge of material and technology trends in the market and translate them into new concepts.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
*Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design strongly preferred.
*Must have 5-9 years of product development experience or related field.
*Experience leading a team of designers from initial research to concept generation to implementation.
*3D modeling and prototyping experience is necessary.
*Interest and/or experience in the digital and/or strategy space preferred.
