Our client, a world-class manufacturer of home & residential products, is actively seeking to fill multiple positions for their burgeoning Shanghai office.  Our ideal candidate would be a visionary leader with substantial management experience as well as a broad based knowledge of industrial design.  Must function above and beyond the normal role of a lead designer and have the insight and forethought to bring novel ideas to an already well-established and respected company.

Specific Skills

* Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university or college of industrial design with emphasis on product design

* 10-15 years experience in design team management

* Outstanding design vision/sensibility, aesthetics and form and sketching

* The ability to inspire and mentor others, as well as work alongside them

* Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary team and with clients

* Excellent presentation and communication skills

* Preferably fluent in Mandarin and English, but not necessary.
