Our client, a world-class manufacturer of home & residential products, is looking for a highly talented and passionate Lead Industrial Designer to join their team. Our ideal candidate would be a visionary leader with strong management skills and a great design sensibility. He or she should have experience in handling complex design projects from concept generation through implementation, preferably geared towards lifestyle design. The candidate should be able to represent the design department while actively collaborating with various other divisions within the company. While the candidate will provide design inspiration and technical guidance to the team, he or she shouldn’t be afraid to roll up their sleeves once in a while. Specific Skills * Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university or college of industrial design with emphasis on product design * 10-15 years experience in design or related field * Outstanding design vision / sensibility, aesthetics and form, sketching * The ability to inspire and mentor others, as well as work alongside them * Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary team and with clients * Excellent presentation and communication skills * Materials and manufacturing knowledge * Strong mechanical aptitude Qualified candidates please send your resume and samples (a PDF file under 3mb) and reference the above search number to apply@yehideology.com.
