Our client, an established, groundbreaking telecommunications company is looking for a Principal Creative UX who can help them revolutionize their interactive systems. The Ideal candidate must be well-versed in research and discovery methodology and not be afraid to be a thought leader and teacher in the company. He or She must be comfortable presenting their findings in front of a variety of stakeholders and deliver powerful process driven interactions.
POSITION SUMMARY
An experienced Interaction Designer that will build the foundation of our clients interaction platform from the ground up. The ideal candidate must have creative vision and the ability to deliver on it. Responsibilities include being a thought leader in the organization, delivering ground breaking design and interaction, mentoring junior designers and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team including visual designers, user research analysts and software engineers.
The ideal candidate possesses excellent visual and user interface design skills as well as an aptitude for innovation, consistency, and a keen eye for detail. Applicant must be able to design and present ideas in a collaborative environment and must be a strong and articulate communicator.
Qualifications
* A degree/diploma in interaction design, industrial design or related industries
* 7+ years experience designing digital interface experiences
* Leadership experience including mentoring and team management
* Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design related software required
* Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
* A portfolio that demonstrates successful application of design principles
* Strong interest in and knowledge of mobile platforms
