Our client, a world-class design and manufacturer of exceptional high quality consumer products seeks a Senior Interaction Designer to join the Global Design Organization. Our ideal candidate translates consumer satisfaction
to the interaction and usability of the next generation of appliances, foresees emerging trends and proactive seeks insight regarding user interaction.

Job Description:

Senior UX/UI designer will create the next generation of interaction for all new consumer products. They will conceive innovative solutions based on real-life insight, and trends research that maintain a high level of usability. Contribute to a diverse culture of creativity, and innovative problem solving in cross-disciplinary teams. Has a high level of craftsmanship and curiosity.

 

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in product design and user interface design of consumer electronics.
  • Skilled in creating information architecture and prototyping user interface designs using popular interaction design tools.
  • Experienced in user-centered research methods ethnography, user needs analysis, participatory design, and usability testing.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Graduate degree in Human Factors, Interaction Design, Psychology, or a related discipline preferred.

 

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create user interaction designs for home appliance products and services that are distinct in the marketplace.
  • Develop, conduct, and analyze usability studies; providing guidance and to fellow designers at all stages of product development.
  • Model user-centered design principles within the product development processes.
  • Collaborate with Human Factors, Interaction Design, and Usability specialists in cultivating a world-class organization.
  • Collaborate with brand studios and strategic partners to define roadmaps for user experience design and technology application.
